Tizita - “CODED Whisper” Nuit Blanche Installation
Tizita is a captivating Nuit Blanche installation lead by Winta Hagos that immerses visitors in a identity inspired by the Ethiopian concept of nostalgia and longing. The soundscape created combines traditional Ethiopian & Eritrean Music with contemporary elements, creating a rich tapestry of emotions that resonates with the theme of memory. Layered harmonies and rhythmic textures invite participants to reflect on their own experiences, fostering a deep connection between the audience and the evocative power of sound. As night falls, Tizita transforms the space into a meditative environment, encouraging exploration and introspection through its unique auditory journey. Produced by Myself and Brendan Phillips.
A Sudden TRANsFORMATION OF NATURE
Directed by David May and taking its name from Roland Barthes’ 1957 essay “Plastic”, A Sudden Transformation of Nature examines plastic’s connectivity to nature and the infinite possibilities this never-decomposing material may offer us. It follows Emily and Dom of Studio Rat in the ten days leading up to their first test installation for Parachute, giving insight into the technical process and conceptual motivations for their work.

Eggs Get crackin’ social media campaign, where I crafted engaging soundscapes and audio effects to enhance the visual content. My role involved recording and editing high-quality voiceovers, composing original background music, and meticulously editing and mixing audio for optimal clarity and balance. Collaborating closely with the creative team, I ensured that all audio elements seamlessly integrated with the video content, driving engagement and reinforcing the brand’s presence. The final audio design played a crucial role in creating a vibrant and memorable campaign experience across social media platforms.

Crafting a unique and compelling auditory experience to elevate the brand's promotional content. The process involved developing an original musical composition that captured the innovation and excitement associated with DJI’s drones. I carefully tailored the music to match the visual elements and dynamic footage of the advertisement, incorporating uplifting melodies and energetic rhythms to highlight the product's advanced features and cutting-edge technology. The final song was meticulously mixed and mastered to ensure optimal sound quality and seamless integration with the advertisement, enhancing the overall impact and viewer engagement.

Featuring a range of impactful sounds including rhythmic pulses, energetic impacts, and futuristic tones, this pack provides versatile and cutting-edge effects ideal for music production, film scoring, and digital content creation. Each sound is crafted with precision to ensure clarity and intensity, making "Pulse" a valuable tool for adding a professional edge to any creative endeavor.
STEVE MADDEN “MONA’S” SOCIAL MEDIA CAMPAIGN
For the Steve Madden social media campaign, I crafted custom audio work that perfectly complemented the brand's edgy and contemporary image. My responsibilities included composing and producing original music that resonated with the campaign’s vibrant and fashion-forward theme. I also designed and integrated tailored sound effects to enhance the visual elements and create an immersive experience. By blending rhythmic beats with stylish audio elements, I ensured that the soundscapes aligned seamlessly with Steve Madden’s bold branding, effectively capturing the attention of their target audience and amplifying the overall impact of the campaign.

Studio Mise, a prominent Toronto brand known for its minimalist and conceptual designs, showcased its innovative spirit through the Midori Mise hoodie campaign by integrating a song produced by Vertigeux. Collaborating with a local musician, they crafted an ambient track that mirrored the hoodie’s elegant simplicity, creating a multi-sensory experience that seamlessly blended fashion and music. This unique approach not only highlighted the collection’s features but also reinforced Studio Mise's commitment to pushing the boundaries of traditional fashion marketing.
The promo video for Azulik Tulum Resort, crafted for social media, showcases a stunning blend of visuals and sound. Created by acclaimed filmmaker Sam Kolder, the video captures the resort’s ethereal beauty through dynamic, sweeping shots that highlight its luxurious, natural surroundings. The immersive visuals are perfectly complemented by the intricate sound design and foley work by Vertigeux, whose audio enhancements add depth and texture to the experience. Together, Kolder’s breathtaking imagery and Vertigeux’s meticulous soundscapes create a captivating narrative that transports viewers to the serene and enchanting atmosphere of Azulik Tulum.
